No, the Edge/Vickie wedding is on Smackdown.

I tuned in to the main event only tonight. Why/how did Punk cash in?

I could’ve sworn the wedding was originally supposed to be at NoC. Anyway.

The first segment (before even the PPV recap, I think) was JR coming out to say goodbye to Raw/the Oklahoma crowd. They let him talk for a while before Edge comes out to be heelish. Says how dumb JR and the fans are, etc. Then he says he’ll never be on Raw ever again unless it’s for another draft show, so if Raw wants a title they’ll have to find a way to take HHH’s.

Batista comes out, slaps Edge around a bit and Demon Bombs him. Then Punk runs out with a ref pointing frantically at his case. The ref gives the case to Lillian and is slowly explaining to her while Punk dances around like he really has to pee and makes “hurry up” motions. The instant the bell rings Punk picks Edge up, G2S, match over in 4 seconds.

In an interview segment later on Punk did give Batista credit for the assist.

I almost forgot the line of the night. Edge putting down JR, “Put that in your blog, barbecue-boy.”
