Posts will be sporadic in the next two weeks as I’m on vacation and may or may not be local to watch the shows. I will put up a discussion thread for each show and we should get maclean to check in with TNA.

Discuss the draft? Ok.
Rey Mysterio to Raw - Overdue. HBK/Rey must happen as soon as possible.
Jeff Hardy to Smackdown - Didn’t see this one coming. For a while it seemed like he was going to end up as the #1 babyface on Smackdown (which would’ve been great) until HHH was drafted. Oh well. I’d have to imagine that a TLC match with Edge for the World Heavyweight title would headline Summerslam.
CM Punk to Raw - Uh, wasn’t he practically already on Raw?
Matt Hardy to ECW - Poor Matt. It’s very plainly obvious to see how hard he works in every one of his matches, and that he *gives a shit*, so this really sucks to see.
Michael Cole to Raw and JR to Smackdown - I’ve long said that if you REALLY want to shake up the product and make it seem fresh, change up the announcers. That said, this was a stupid, stupid, stupid, STUPID way to do it. JR should always be on Raw, ALWAYS. Switch King, Foley and Tazz around, not JR and Cole. And if you’re going to make a switch of this magnitude, give it some notice, not on some lameass whim to humor how “anything can happen in the draft!” or whatever the hell. Cole on Raw is going to be difficult to put up with, to say the least.
Batista to Raw - I don’t like the idea of having one guy switching brands every couple years, like Batista has, because it creates a disconnect in the continuity of each brand, kind of like free agency in football. It’s nice to be able to think of Smackdown and immediately have Batista come to mind, the same way McNabb is associated with the Eagles, etc. Other than a program with Cena (which should be saved for a much bigger event like Wrestlemania), I don’t see why Batista was sent to Raw. He was fine where he was.
Umaga to Smackdown - Duh.
Kane to Raw - Will Kane just retire already? The writers have obviously given up on him.
Kennedy to Smackdown - Never got going on Raw thanks to his suspensions. He’ll be much better off.
HHH to Smackdown - Bad idea, should’ve been HBK. HHH has been established now as a bigtime star in the same vein as Undertaker, HBK, Flair, Austin, Rock, Foley, etc. He’s not ready to take an undercard role like HBK has done the past couple years. He’ll be the main focus on Smackdown instead of Edge, who has really done a great job the past year, especially lately with his stable of flunkies. While HHH/Edge will be a fresh matchup in the ring, I’m not looking forward to any kind of storyline or anything, I have a feeling it’ll just be “the deck is stacked against HHH!” again.
The highlight of every week continues to be HBK/Jericho. It’s one thing to just have these guys have a match, which is awesome enough, but its another to make it a blood feud, and execute it to Savage/Steamboat levels, and not only that, they definitely have the goods to deliver a Savage/Steamboat level match too. To me the best thing about their feud is that I have no idea what could happen next. Now that Batista is on Raw, he could get involved again, who knows.
Last thing, just throwing it out there - Cody Rhodes will be Ted DiBiase’s partner at Night of Champions.
