Top 50 of 2004?

I’ve gotta say, InsidePulse’s list is pretty interesting, although I know about NOTHING about the Japanese wrestlers on this list…
I’ll reserve comment until the Top Ten are posted, but some quick observations:
- Man, Big Show at only 37? He was having such an incredible 2003, and one has to wonder where [...]

Meltzer Turns Heel

I found this extremely funny for some reason…
“Hope Santa was good to everyone yesterday. Funny but true story. My family has a tradition of trying to find obscure wrestling gifts to get me, figuring most anything I’d want I already have. A couple of years ago, they came across the DVD of the 1974 movie, [...]

For me, there’s no need to put a question mark at the end of the above sentence. While I will always appreciate and be grateful for the WWE’s Wrestlemania XX and the great moment Vince McMahon gave wrestling fans in Benoit as World Champion (and celebrating with WWE champ Eddie Guerrerro in the ring), [...]

Year in Wrestling

Not to dedicate a post to an obviously cheap plug, but damn, it’s so much fun to read a year-in-review type column when it’s in the form of Junk News, Huzzah!
And while I’m talking about year-end stuff…

Favorite Match In RAW History

Simple Question:
Favorite match in RAW history?
Despite the two obvious tag title changes, about five or six others come immediately to mind, at least for me.
Screw all the nerdy star ratings and what not, we’re talking the match that you’d most like to have in your collection for life.
I’m interested in what everyone has to say [...]

Wrestlers are People Too.

I have to tell you this, the more I read wrestlers’ live journals, the more amount of immense respect I have for them. After reading a few entries from these guys, you really get the feeling that they’re just normal and cool guys… who happen to participate in an abnormal and really cool profession.

Longtime No See

Kurt Angle’s performance last night reminded me why Kurt Angle was one of my favorite wrestlers. Let’s be honest, with his more serious approach in his promos, he didn’t look the Kurt Angle of old. His matches, in my view, remained top-notch (except his stuff with Big Show but who can blame him?). But last [...]

RAW

Man, is it just me, or has RAW just been a hell of a lot of fun for the last two or three weeks. I know certain internet experts are going to bash the show, but for the most part, I just thought every single segment of the show tonight was entertaining and fresh.

Lots of Little Things; Not Much Else

A lackluster PPV to say the least — but from the “Glass Half Full” department:

Here Comes The Pain?

Now I know that I am not the only Lesnar mark around here (I remember ODog writing an article, wishing that the big fella would return) and now that there’s rumors of a Lesnar comeback, I was curious to get your opinion on the situation.
Personally, in a time where the business is down, I don’t [...]
