So the Armageddon main event was announced at last night’s Smackdown tapings (behind the cut due to spoilers)…
…and it will be:
WWE Heavyweight Championship
John Bradshaw Layfield [c] vs. Booker T vs. The Undertaker vs. Eddie Guerrero
What do you think?
I’m guessing this opens things up for:
- Kurt Angle eventually facing Big Show (the man who pinned him at Survivor Series)
- Cena/Colon or Cena/Jesus, depending on injuries/movie shooting
- Some combination of Kenzo/Dupree defending vs. the Dudleyz, Rey/RVD and/or the Bashams
- Chavo vs. Billy
- Spike vs. some new cruiser (perhaps a returning Ultimo? Or Shannon, Akio, Funaki, Capotelli even? Unless London’s on his way back, although he still has issues with Kidman)
Not bad really, and as long as we don’t have to sit through Heidenreich/Haas 3, I’ll be fine.
