411 Top 50 Of 2003/2004

There’s not too many things I’d disagree with on the Fifty done by Williams and Burnside. Overall, they did a pretty great job of putting together a list of US Based Workers, but if you’re going to use US Based Workers, then why not include more ROH guys? Bryan Danielson would make my [...]

Okay, here’s the deal. Being in the Army sometimes means that your life can get crazy for absolutely no reason at all — hence the reason for my lack of posting both here and at 411 for the past two weeks. Things seem to be clearing up now, so I’ll be back more [...]

I was asked the other day if my gimmick here on TheWrestlingBlog.com is to copy other people’s gimmick’s each week, and the answer to that is, well … perhaps. It’s fun leaving you guessing, now isn’t it?

If you haven’t [...]

I ordered my first TNA PPV in ages, the first one since my last show I recapped for 411 (remember, I returned as a TNA reporter…surprising, I know).
Decent show tonight. TNA is a good enough product to order once in a while but I know I’ll never order 4 shows per month.
Some thoughts…

ESPN buries Brock Lesnar

So I’m watching Around the Horn today and one of the subjects was Brock Lesnar. The host asked the panelists if wrestlers were real athletes. One guy did a good job talking about all the football players (Ernie Ladd et all) who’ve gone into wrestling. Chicago’s Jay Mariotti meanwhile completely tears apart the wrestlers saying [...]

Alright, it looks like a slow day here, so I’m going to go ahead and pose a moderately deep question that me and Jay have discussed on countless occasions. It’s going to require a little bit of introspection and thought, so if you’re not prepared to do that, you might want to just stop reading [...]

SD Spoilers

Reading the spoilers on the Wrestling Observer gave me this idea for a SD-brand SummerSlam match…
